Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

Spark Plug Wire Routing:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Ignition key OFF"
2. Spark plug wire retaining clips from engine.
3. Rotate engine.

NOTICE: Pull on spark plug boot or heat shield only, twisting a half turn to release seal while removing. DO NOT pull on wire or spark plug lead may be damage.

4. Spark plug wires.

^ Note position of wires BEFORE removing. See figure.

Install or Connect
1. Spark plug wires.

^ To proper location noted when removed.

2. Return engine to proper position.
3. Spark plug retaining clips to engine.
