Alternator: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove serpentine belt at
alternator assembly.
3.
Remove bolts from
alternator assembly.
4.
Remove power steering gear clip and nut.
5.
Remove
alternator stud, then disconnect alternator wiring.
6.
Loosen
alternator front and rear braces from upper intake manifold.
7.
Remove
alternator assembly.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
