Before removing wiper assembly from vehicle, perform the following:
1. Disconnect wiring harness and apply 12 volts to motor terminals A and C and connect ground to terminal B. The motor should run.
2. To test for proper parking, apply 12 volts to terminal A and connect ground to terminal B. The wiper should park and shutoff.
3. If results are correct in steps 1 and 2, the problem is in the wiring harness or switch. After checking all wires for continuity and ensuring fuses are satisfactory, check switch by turning ignition switch on and probing connector to dash switch. Results should be as shown, Fig. 3, with respect to vehicle ground.
