Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor:





REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Instrument Panel (I/P) lower trim plates (snap out).

2. Air deflectors (snap out).

3. I/P accessory trim plate retaining screws and plate.

4. Aspirator hose and sensor assembly.

^ Disengage snap tabs.

5. In-vehicle temperature sensor.

^ Disengage from aspirator hose.

6. Electrical connector.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Electrical connector.

2. In-vehicle temperature sensor to aspirator hose.

3. Aspirator hose and sensor assembly to I/P.

^ Make sure hose routing is not crimped or bent when installing.

4. I/P accessory trim plate and retaining screws.

^ Tighten screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb. in.).

5. Air deflectors (snap in).

6. Instrument Panel lower trim plates (snap in).
