Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C System Switch Locations:

TIP: The pressure cycling switch is mounted on a Schrader-type valve. It is not necessary to recover the refrigerant from the A/C system to replace this switch.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Electrical connection from switch.

2. Switch and O-ring seal.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Switch and new O-ring seal.

2. Tighten Switch to 5 Nm (44 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connection to switch.
