Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Remove left hand sound insulator.

3. Disconnect electrical connector to solenoid.

4. Remove BTSI solenoid. from steering column lower support with trim. pad removal tool No. J 38778 or equivalent and then from shift control cable with a flat bladed screwdriver.

5 Reverse procedure to install, noting to check shift lever for proper function and adjust shift cable if required.
