Window Regulator Motor - Front

CAUTION: If door module assembly is removed from vehicle, relieve tension on actuator spring using tool J 38864 or equivalent. Failure to relieve tension on actuator spring could cause the cross arm assembly to suddenly spring closed when removing power window actuator, resulting in personal injury.

Actuator - Power Window (Motor)
Remove or Disconnect
1. Ensure window is 1 inch below full up position.










2. Switch plate.
3. Wire harness.
4. Insert small thin-bladed tool between side of warning lamp/reflector and aN.mrest base to release retaining tab.
5. Wire connector.
6. Escutcheon screw.
7. Wire harness.
8. Lock control lever and. escutcheon.
9. Screws and pull handle (Park Avenue).
10. Retaining screws.
11. Using 3 38778 release trim panel fasteners.
12. Feed wire harness through door.
13. Trim panel.
14. Wire connector and speaker (if equipped).
15. Screws from HVAC (RH side) or headlamp switch (LH side) then remove from applique.
16. Applique nuts and applique.
17. Courtesy lamp lens.
18. Cappet nuts and carpet.
19. Speaker cover.
20. Speaker(s).






21. Water deflector by peeling deflector off door inner panel.






22. Nuts
23 Actuator.
Install or Connect
1. Actuator.
2. Nuts
5. Speakers(s).
1. Speaker cover.
2. Carpet.
3. CourLesy lamp lens.
4. Applique.
5. HVAC control (RH side) or headlamp switch (LH side)then remove from applique.
6. Speaker and wire connector.
7. Feed wire harness through door.
8. Trim panel.
9. Retaining screws.
10. Pull handle Park Avenue).
11. Escutcheon and lock control lever.
12. Wire harness.
13. Warning lamp/reflector.
14. Wire harness and switch plate.
15. Water deflector to door inner panel, making sure to slick out wrinkles.
16. Slick bottom frrst, then the sides, then top, so there are no wrinkles.
17. Negative battery cable.
