Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

Ignition Control Module And Coil Assembly:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. 14-way connector at ignition control module.
2. Spark plug wires from coil assemblies.
3. 6 screws securing coil assemblies to ignition control module.
4. Disconnect coils from ignition control module.
5. Nuts and washers (3) securing ignition control module assembly to bracket.
6. Ignition control module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Coils to ignition control module.
2. 6 screws, torque to 4-5 Nm (40 in lb).
3. Nuts and washers securing assembly to bracket torque to 8 Nm (70 in lb).
4. Spark plug wires.
5. 14-way connector to module.
