Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
Knock Sensor:
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 1.
Knock sensor wiring harness connector from knock sensor.
2.
Knock sensor from engine block.
INSTALL OR CONNECT 1.
Knock sensor into engine block. Be sure threads are clean. Tighten to
19 Nm (14 ft lb).
CAUTION: Overtorquing can damage the
knock sensor.

Knock sensor wiring harness connector to the knock sensor.
