Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Disconnect heater hoses from heater core.
4. Remove righthand and lefthand sound insulators.
5. Remove heater core cover from heater and A/C module.
6. Remove heater core retaining straps.
7. Remove heater core from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install. To aid installation the sound insulator seal may be cut in half. Each half should be placed into the respective sides of the heater and A/C module.
