REFRIGERANT OIL DISTRIBUTION

V-5 compressor systems require 270 ml (9 oz) of PAG synthetic refrigerant oil GM P/N 12345923 or equivalent. During component replacement and conditions stated, new oil quantities should be added to the system as follows.

- Compressor replaced
- If less than 30 ml (1 oz) is drained - add 60 ml (2 oz) to the new compressor.
- If more than 30 ml (1 oz) is drained - add the same amount that was drained to the new compressor.
- Accumulator replaced.
- Add 30 ml (1 oz) more than was drained from old accumulator.
- Evaporator replaced.
- Add 90 ml (3 oz) or new refrigerant oil.
- Condenser replaced.
- Add 30 ml (1 oz) of new refrigerant oil.
