Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT1. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Bolts, springs from manifold.
3. Bolts from intermediate exhaust pipe to three way catalytic convertor.
4. Converter assembly.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Converter assembly.
2. Intermediate exhaust pipe end bolts to three way catalytic convertor.
3. Bolts, Springs to manifold.
Tighten
Bolts to manifold to 32 Nm (24 ft lb)
Bolts to three way catalytic converter to 47 Nm (35 ft lb)
4. Lower vehicle
