Window Regulator: Service and Repair



WINDOW REGULATOR










Coupe and sedan front doors use a signal lift arm regulator. The following procedures are for removal and replacement of both power manual window regulators.

Remove

Note: Tape window to the full-up position.

1. Door trim panel.
2. Water deflector.
3. Rivets using 1/4 inch drill bit.
4. Regulator by disengaging regulator arm from sash channel.
5. Electrical connector to motor (power window Systems). Remove regulator through door inner access hole.

Install

1. Regulator through access hole and attach regulator arm sash channel.
2. Electrical connector to motor (power window system).
3. Rivets using 1/4 inch x 1/2 inch peel type rivets.
4. Water deflector.
5. Door trim panel.
