Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position Sensor:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the CKP sensor retaining screw.
4. Remove the CKP sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.
2. Install the crankshaft position sensor retaining screw.

Tighten
Screw to 4-6 Nm (35-53 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
