EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the solenoid valve (1).
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose harness (3).
3. Remove the Nut and solenoid valve (1) from the intake manifold (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the solenoid valve (1) and bracket to the intake manifold (4).

Tighten
Nut to 34 Nm (25 lb ft).

2. Connect the vacuum hose harness (3).
3. Connect the electrical connector to the solen6id valve (1).
