Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

Transmitter Battery Replacement:






Disassemble

1. Insert bottom of GM door key into notch in bottom of transmitter and turn.

2. Remove battery and discard.

NOTE: DO NOT touch circuit board or battery contact points, transmitter failure or battery failure may result.

Assemble

1. Insert battery as shown.

2. Align both halves of transmitter and snap together.

3. Press lock; and unlock simultaneously for seven seconds within range of the vehicle to resynchronize transmitters.

4. Horn will chirp once and lights will flash when complete.
