REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Disable the SIR system, Refer to Disabling the SIR System. Service and Repair
1. The passenger seat, refer to Seats in Seats and Carpet.
2. The sill plate - RH, refer to Sill Plate in Seats and Carpet
3. Lift up the carpet and insulation to access the Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM).
4. The Connector Position Assurance (CPA) and the electrical connector.
5. The fasteners attaching the SDM to the floor sheetmetal.
6. The SDM from the vehicle.
