Remove or Disconnect
1. Instrument panel upper trim pad.
2. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into slot on daytime running lamp ambient light sensor bracket on instrument panel trim pad, and with a twisting motion unsnap bracket (Pontiac).
3. Socket from instrument panel trim pad (Buick) or bracket (Pontiac) by twisting 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
4. Daytime running lamp ambient light sensor from socket.

Install or Connect
1. Daytime running lamp ambient light sensor to socket.
2. Socket to instrument panel trim pad (Buick) or bracket (Pontiac) by twisting 1/4 turn clockwise.
3. Instrument panel upper trim pad.
4. Align daytime running lamp ambient light sensor bracket to hole instrument panel upper pad and snap into place (Pontiac).
