Brake Signal: Testing and Inspection
The TCC brake switch signal to the
PCM indicates when the brake pedal is applied. The TCC brake switch information is used by the PCM mainly to control the Transaxle torque converter clutch. Refer to Automatic Transaxle for a complete description and TCC brake switch diagnosis. For DTC diagnosis refer to System Diagnosis / Diagnostic Tables / Diagnostic Trouble Code Tables.
