Power Door Lock Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fastener retaining the bezel to the trim panel.
3. Pull the door handle to the open position.
4. Pull the bezel over the door handle while disengaging the lock rod from the knob.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Remove the bezel.

Installation Procedure

1. Partially install the bezel.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Pull the door handle to the open position.
4. Insert the rear edge of the bezel into the door trim panel.
5. Align the locking rod knob of the bezel to the lock rod.
6. Push the bezel into the opening.
7. Install the fastener.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 1.2 N.m (11 lb in).

8. Connect the negative battery cable.
