REMOVAL PROCEDURE


Tools Required

J34730, Fuel Pressure Gage

1. Relieve the fuel system fuel pressure. Refer to the Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.

2. Remove the trunk liner (1).

3. Remove the bolts from the fuel sender access panel (2).


4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical sensor connector.

5. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the sender.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the new fuel tank vapor pressure sensor into the modular fuel sender.

2. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical sensor connector.

3. Install the fuel sender access panel (2) bolts.

^ Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb. in.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the trunk liner (1).

5. Install the fuel tank filler pipe cap.

6. Install the negative battery cable.
