Body Control Module (BCM)

The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the door locking, interior lighting, and remote alarm portions of the keyless entry system. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) for more information regarding the BCM.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) sends door locking and remote alarm command messages to the Body Control Module (BCM) through the RFA link.

The BCM may set these DTCs related to the keyless entry:
^ B2802 - RFA link shorted to ground.
^ B2803 - RFA link shorted to voltage.
^ B2805 - RFA programming/diagnostic mode message not received.
^ B2806 - RFA link parity error.
