Headlamp Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left sound insulator.
2. Remove the headlamp auto controller connector (3).
3. Remove the lower retainer bracket from the headlamp auto controller module bracket.
4. Squeeze the prongs together to release the headlamp auto controller module.
5. Remove the headlamp auto controller module from the mounting bracket by pulling down on the headlamp auto controller module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the headlamp auto controller module on to the bracket by sliding the module upward and slightly rearward into the mounting bracket. Slide the module into position until the locking tabs engage.
2. Install the lower retainer bracket to the headlamp auto controller module bracket.

Engage the headlamp auto controller module center prongs into the module bracket center area.
3. Connect the headlamp auto controller electrical connections (3).
4. Install the left sound insulator.
