System Operation

If the vehicle is equipped with the UK3 option, there are buttons located on the steering wheel that control certain radio functions.

If the vehicle has steering wheel controls, you can control certain radio functions using the buttons on the steering wheel.




SEEK: Press the up or down arrow in order to tune to the next radio station. When playing a cassette tape or a compact disc, press the up or the down arrow in order to hear the next or the last selection. There must be at least a 3 second gap between the selections on a cassette tape for this feature to work.

PRESET: Press the PRESET button in order to play a station that has been programmed into the numbered pushbuttons.

AM/FM: Press the AM/FM button in order to choose AM, FM1 and FM2. If a cassette tape or a compact disc is playing, pressing the AM/FM button will cause the cassette tape or the compact disc to stop. The radio will then play.




VOLUME: Press the up or the down arrow in order to increase or to decrease the volume.

PLAY: Press the PLAY button in order to play a cassette tape or a compact disc when the radio is playing.

MUTE: Press the MUTE button in order to quickly lower the volume to a very low level. Pressing the button again will return the volume to the previous level.
