Door Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rubber conduit.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip.
5. Remove the rear door outer sealing strip.
6. Remove the stationary window molding.
7. Remove the rear door frame molding.
8. Remove the window.
9. Remove the outside door handle.
10. Remove the inside door handle.
11. Remove the lock.
12. Remove the door window weatherstrip.
13. Remove the window regulator.
14. Disconnect the wiring harness.
15. Support the door.
16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts.
17. Remove the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Use the aid of an assistant in order to install the door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

IMPORTANT: Use Loctite(R) Blue GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent prior to installing fasteners.

2. Install the intermediate door hinge bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

3. Remove the support.
4. Connect the wiring harness.
5. Install the window regulator.
6. Install the door window weatherstrip.
7. Install the lock.
8. Install the inside door handle.
9. Install the outside door handle.
10. Install the window.
11. Install the rear door frame molding.
12. Install the stationary window molding.
13. Install the rear door inner sealing strip.
14. Install the rear door outer sealing strip.
15. Install the rubber conduit.
16. Install the water deflector.
17. Install the trim panel.
18. Adjust the door. Refer to Door Adjustment - Rear.
