Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement - Left

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Use the J 38778 in order remove the LH Instrument Panel (IP) insulator retainers from the steering column opening filler panel.




2. Disconnect the courtesy lamp from the instrument panel insulator by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.




3. Remove the LH IP insulator from the stud at the accelerator pedal.
4. Remove the LH IP insulator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the LH Instrument Panel (IP) insulator to the IP.
2. Install the courtesy lamp to the instrument panel insulator then rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to secure.




3. Install the LH IP insulator to the stud at the accelerator pedal.




4. Install the LH IP insulator retainers to the steering column opening filler panel.
