^ Clean the engine front cover mating surface.
^ Clean the engine front cover.
^ Inspect the engine front cover threaded holes.
^ Inspect the engine front cover for damage.
^ Inspect the engine front cover mating surfaces for nicks.
^ Repair or replace the engine front cover as necessary.
