Temperature Sensor Replacement - Low Side




REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
^ J 39500 Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging System.
^ J 39400-A Electronic Halogen Leak Detector

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor (1).
3. Remove the sensor (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the sensor (1).

Tighten
Tighten the sensor to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (1).
3. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
4. Using the J 39400-A, leak test the A/C system. Refer to Leak Testing.
