Rear Seat Back Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .




2. Remove the lap belt bolts (3).
3. Remove the lap belts.
4. Lift the seatback (1) upward in order to release the guide wires from the hooks (2) and the body slot.

Important: On seatbacks with pass-through, remove the 2 retainers in the trunk that are secured near the pass-through opening.


5. Remove the seatback (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seatback (1).
2. Connect the guide wires into the hooks (2).
3. Install the lap belts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the lap belt bolts (3).

Tighten the lap belt bolts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

5. On the seatbacks with pass-through, install the 2 retainers in the trunk that secure to the armrest near the pass-through opening.
6. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .
