Air Cleaner Element Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURENOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Remove the rear air intake duct from the throttle body.
2. Remove the screws securing the front air intake duct to the air cleaner housing.
3. Remove the air filter element.
4. Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, water and replace if required.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the air filter element.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the two screws securing the front air intake duct to the air cleaner housing.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the rear air intake duct.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
