Air Inlet Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC module.
2. Remove the air inlet actuator.
3. Remove the air inlet housing retaining screws (1)
4. Remove the air inlet housing (2) from the HVAC module.




5. Remove the air inlet valve (1) from the air inlet housing (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air inlet valve (1) into the air inlet housing (2).




2. Align the retaining tabs and install the air inlet housing (2) to the HVAC module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the air inlet housing screws.

Tighten
Tighten the air inlet housing screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

4. Install the air inlet actuator.
5. Install the HVAC module.
