Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Remove the knee bolster.
3. Pull the inside air temperature sensor out from the instrument panel and remove from the aspirator hose.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the inside air temperature sensor to the aspirator hose.
3. Install the sensor into the instrument panel.
4. Install the knee bolster.
5. Install the cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel Gauges and Warning Indicators.
