Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR OR SWITCH REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 41712 Oil Pressure Switch Socket

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure switch (1).
3. Remove the oil pressure switch (1) using the J 41712.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the oil pressure switch (1) using the J 41712.

Tighten
Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the oil pressure switch.
3. Lower the vehicle.
