REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right In Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
3. Remove the Dash Integration Module (DIM) from the bracket and position aside.
4. Remove the rear DIM bracket screws and lower the bracket enough to access the blower module.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
6. Remove the blower control module retaining screw.
7. Remove the blower control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the blower control module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the retaining screw.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (1).
4. Install the DIM bracket screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

5. Install the DIM into the bracket.
6. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
7. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
8. Recalibrate the actuator. Refer to Re-Calibrating Actuators.
