PNP Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Automatic Transaxle Range Selector Cable Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct.
2. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the wiring harness clip or strap.
3. Remove the range selector cable for the automatic transaxle (AT) from the AT range selector lever.





4. Remove the AT range selector cable from the AT range selector cable bracket.
5. Remove the AT range selector cable from the console shift control or the column shift control.

6. Pull the AT range selector cable through the dash from the engine compartment side.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Automatic Transaxle Range Selector Cable Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Insert the AT range selector cable through the dash from the engine compartment side.
2. Install the AT range selector cable to the AT range selector cable bracket.





3. Install the AT range selector cable to the AT range selector lever.
4. Install the AT range selector cable to the wiring harness clip or strap.
5. Install the AT range selector cable to the console shift control or the column shift control.
7. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
