^ Spark of the proper quality and at the proper time

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
Use a scan tool in order to compare engine coolant temperature (ECT) with intake air temperature (IAT) on a completely cool engine. ECT should be within 10°C (50°F) of IAT.
