Scan Tool Data Definitions - Variable Effort Steering (VES)

Scan Tool Data Definitions
Vehicle Speed: The scan tool displays 0 - 255 km/h (0 - 159 mph). The actual speed the vehicle is moving.
VES Actuator Commanded: The scan tool displays -2.00-3.00 amps. The amount of current that the EBCM is commanding to the VES actuator.
VES Actuator Feedback: The scan tool displays 2.00-3.00 amps. The amount of current returning from the VES actuator to the EBCM. The scan tool displays the absolute, or positive value of the feedback current Thus the-symbol is not displayed.
