Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair

OBJECT ALARM MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right rear compartment side trim.




2. Insert a small bladed screwdriver under the locking tab and unlock the connector.
3. Disconnect the connector from the object sensor control module assembly.




4. Remove the mounting nuts retaining the object sensor control module assembly to the vehicle.
5. Remove the object sensor control module assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the object sensor control module assembly to the vehicle.
2. Install the rear object sensor control module assembly mounting nuts.

Tighten the rear object sensor control module assembly mounting nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.




3. Install the electrical connector.
4. Install the rear compartment side trim.
