Coolant Heater Cord Replacement (RPO LY7)
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the air inlet duct.
2. Remove the catalytic converter.
3. Remove the coolant heater cord (1) from the coolant heater.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Cut the tie straps (2) attaching the coolant heater cord to the transmission fill tube.





6. Cut the tie strap attaching the coolant heater cord to the diagonal brace.
7. Remove the coolant heater cord.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the coolant heater cord to the diagonal brace.
2. Install a NEW tie strap attaching the coolant heater cord to the diagonal brace.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.





4. connect the coolant heater cord (1) to the coolant heater.
5. Install the catalytic converter.
6. Install NEW tie straps (2) attaching the coolant heater cord to the transmission fill tube.
7. Install the air inlet duct.
