Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement (RPO LY7)
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the engine.
2. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe nuts (3, 5) and bolt (4).
3. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe.
4. Inspect the exhaust crossover pipe seal. Replace the exhaust crossover pipe seal only if it is excessively worn or damaged.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the exhaust crossover pipe.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the exhaust crossover pipe nuts (3, 5) and bolt (4).
Tighten the bolt/nuts to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the engine.
