First Pass 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)
Final Pass 95 degrees

Notice: This component uses torque-to-yield bolts. When servicing this component do not reuse the bolts, New torque-to-yield bolts must be installed. Reusing used torque-to-yield bolts will not provide proper bolt torque and clamp load. Failure to install NEW torque-to-yield bolts may lead to engine damage.

Surface Finish - Maximum 2.8 RA
Surface Flatness - Block Deck 0.08 mm Per 152 mm (0.003 inch Per 6 inch)





Lower Intake Manifold Bolt - Center 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Lower Intake Manifold Bolt - Corner 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Upper Intake Manifold Bolt/Stud 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts working from the center outward

Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold Nut 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold Stud 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft Sprocket Bolt 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.)
