Roof Rail Rear Courtesy Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the rear end of the lens and pry out to remove the lens.
2. Remove the light bulb if necessary.
3. Insert a flat-bladed tool behind the lamp assembly at the switch end and pry that end out.
4. Disconnect the courtesy/reading lamp wiring harness from the socket.
5. Slide the lamp assembly out of the headliner.
6. Remove the lamp assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the tab end of the lamp into the headliner.




2. Connect the wiring harness to the lamp.
3. Press the lamp into the headliner.
4. Install the lamp bulb if removed.
5. Position the tab end of the lens in the lamp and press in to install the lens.
