Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover.
2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (3) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.




3. Carefully disengage the locking tabs holding the MAP sensor.
4. Remove the MAP sensor.

Installation Procedure




1. Ensure that the seal is installed on the MAP sensor and that the seal is not damaged.
2. Position and install the MAP sensor. Ensure that the locking tabs engage to hold the MAP sensor.




3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector (3) to the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
4. Install the intake manifold cover.
