Battery Tray: Service and Repair



Battery Tray Replacement (L26)

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26) (Battery Replacement).




3. Remove the battery tray bolts.
4. Remove the battery tray.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the battery tray.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the battery tray bolts.

Tighten the battery tray bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26) (Battery Replacement).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26) (Service and Repair).
