Wiring Harness: Service and Repair




Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove control valve body cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement (Control Valve Body Cover Replacement).
2. Remove control valve body. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement (Control Valve Body Replacement).
3. Remove the transmission control module. Refer to Transmission Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair).




4. Remove the wiring harness.

* Remove the clip (1).
* Lift out the wiring harness (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Fit the wiring harness.
Fit a new seal (2) in the gearcase and an O-ring (1) on the connection.




2. Fit in the wiring harness (2).
Make sure that the connector's guide pin locates in the groove and fit the clip (1).
3. Fit the transmission control module. Refer to Transmission Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Fit the control valve body. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement (Control Valve Body Replacement).
5. Fit the control valve body cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement (Control Valve Body Cover Replacement).
