Adjustable Timing Chain Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the camshaft position exhaust actuator. Refer to Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator Replacement Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator Replacement.

2. Remove the camshaft position intake actuator. Refer to Camshaft Position Intake Actuator Replacement Camshaft Position Intake Actuator Replacement.

3. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement Service and Repair.





4. Remove the timing chain adjustable guide bolt (2) and the timing chain adjustable guide (1).

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the timing chain adjustable guide (1) and the timing chain adjustable guide bolt (2) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

2. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Install the camshaft position intake actuator. Refer to Camshaft Position Intake Actuator Replacement Camshaft Position Intake Actuator Replacement.

4. Install the camshaft position exhaust actuator. Refer to Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator Replacement Camshaft Position Exhaust Actuator Replacement.
