Water Inlet Replacement




Water Inlet Replacement (2.0L LHU)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water inlet and hang aside. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.4L LEA) Radiator Outlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.0L LHU) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.

2. Remove the radiator surge tank engine hose from the water inlet and hang aside. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Engine Hose Replacement Radiator Surge Tank Engine Hose Replacement.




3. Remove the 2 water inlet bolts (2) and the water inlet (4) with the gasket (5).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the water inlet (4) with the NEW gasket (5) and install the 2 water inlet bolts (2) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

2. Install the radiator surge tank engine hose to the water inlet. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Engine Hose Replacement Radiator Surge Tank Engine Hose Replacement.

3. Install the radiator outlet hose to the water inlet. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.4L LEA) Radiator Outlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.0L LHU) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
