Water Inlet Replacement




Water Inlet Replacement (2.4L LEA)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water inlet and reposition. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.4L LEA) Radiator Outlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.0L LHU) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.

2. Remove the radiator surge tank outlet hose from the water inlet and reposition. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement.




3. Remove the 2 water inlet bolts (2) and the water inlet (4) with the gasket (5).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the water inlet (4) with the NEW gasket (5) and install the 2 water inlet bolts (2) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

2. Install the radiator surge tank outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement.

3. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.4L LEA) Radiator Outlet Hose ReplacementRadiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.0L LHU) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
