Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side

Special Tools

EN-45059 - Angle Meter

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools Tools and Equipment.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.

2. Install the engine lifter to the engine lift brackets.




3. Remove and DISCARD the 3 transmission mount bolts (1).




4. Remove the 2 transmission mount bolts (2) and the transmission mount nut (1).




5. Remove the transmission mount (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission mount (1).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the 2 transmission mount bolts (2) and tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb ft).

3. Install the transmission mount nut (1) and tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb ft).





Caution: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution.

4. Install the 3 NEW transmission mount bolts (1) and tighten a first pass to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

5. Tighten the 3 NEW transmission mount bolts (1) a final pass to an additional 60 - 75 degrees, using the EN-45059 - meter.

6. Remove the engine lifter.

7. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.
