Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

CAVALIER, CIMARRON, SUNBIRD & 2000
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove headlight switch knob by pulling knob to full ``ON'' position, depressing retaining clip behind knob and pulling knob from shaft.
3. Gently pry lefthand side trimplate out of instrument panel.
4. Remove switch retaining nut, rotate and tilt switch forward and pull switch from instrument panel.
5. Disconnect wiring connector and remove switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
